Job Description:

General Purpose
  • This locally-based position represents part of the front-line sales force at Corsair Components, Inc. and is responsible for helping to grow the business and gaining market share.
  • Responsible for driving and growing revenue from the full Corsair product line. Identifies, enables and develops high-potential channel partners.
  • Determines and understands existing customers' requirements for Corsair product offerings and services.
  • Understands and helps facilitate local certification and customs clearance requirements for importing Corsair products.
  • Translates products and promotions into benefits for a customer.
  • Serves as a liaison between Corsair's internal resources (inside sales program, marketing, purchasing and other corporate departments).
  • Establishes and retains strong and influential customer relationships.
  • Forecasts effectively and has knowledge of the competition and Corsair's standing in the marketplace.
  • Develops and maintains broad, influential relationships with customers, channel partners, and Corsair colleagues.
  • Generates demand and orders from resellers to distributors to drive sell through and replenishment into the region.
  • Generates regular reports on sales progress, challenges and opportunities.
  • Carries out Corsair global strategy on a regional level to achieve goals and targets.
Position Summary, Responsibilities And Expectations
  • Support and work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Work to find new sales leads and customers, through business directories, client referrals, etc…
  • Will focus on inside sales, which typically involves internal program data input, reporting and outside sales, which involves visiting clients in the field with new or existing clients and customer sales out activities tracking
  • Responsible for achievement of of targeted volume and revenue
  • Specialize in South African channel customers
  • Felxibility to travel to SA channel/retail customers and also events for Corsair such as the rAge, annual sales conference and Computex.

Job Requirements:

Essential Skills And Experience
  • 5+ years industry experience with a proven sales track record, including knowledge of processes and procedures
  • Must possess excellent communication skills; professional business English in all verbal, written and VOIP communications
  • Post graduate degree in Business Administration is a plus
  • Travel will be required
