Job Description:

Overview To provide support to all SMEA repertoire centres with a focus on all Commercial Partners and commercial activity. To account manage all digital accounts across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

Account Management

  • Apple Music
  • Soundcloud
  • VevoMTN Plus
  • Spotify
  • Vodacom
  • OnMobile
  • YouTube
  • Joox
  • Deezer

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Analysis of singles campaigns
  • Upkeep of sales forecasting reports (Singles & Albums Sales Predictors)
  • Daily sales and digital pre-order reporting to labels
  • Maintaining and communicating key forecasting reports
  • Other ad hoc reports

Scheduling

  • Responsible for keeping abreast of the scheduling of all single and album releases, including any release date moves
  • Compilation of the iTunes/Apple Music Priority Release Schedule
  • Compilation and distribution of the All Partner Digital Release Schedule
  • Compilation of the weekly Singles Planner for the Scheduling meeting

Playlist Management

  • Apple Music Filtr Playlists
  • Playlist strategy and development across all partners.

Asset Gathering

  • Collating assets from labels for on-store/retail marketing promotions
  • Ensure that all accounts are regularly serviced with music and assets for all forthcoming releases

People and Stakeholder Management

  • Manage and be accountable for all aspects as well as relationships between Sony Music SA and all Digital Service providers to ensure all their needs are met.
  • Effective people management skills to ensure team is working at optimum levels at all times
  • Manage and continue to develop best practice across digital service partners.
  • Review process development for continued improvement within the key accounts team.
  • Promote and educate best practice in the team by adapting standards, workflows and systems and ensure holistic synergy with other similar territories within the Sony Music landscape.
  • Sound leadership skills to effectively lead the Key Accounts team
