We are looking for an enthusiastic country head for the Distributed Generation and Oil & Gas Service (GP SDO) Business Unit across Algeria. The challenge is to develop an effective country growth strategy which encompasses Sales and Operational activities and the recently-opened repair workshop in Algiers.

Responsibilities
  • To lead, plan and manage all Sales activities and to coordinate with Operational team for the Distributed Generation and Oil & Gas Service (GP SDO) business in Algeria. P&L responsibility with specific focus on Orders and Revenues (around 40M Euro and growing), EBIT and Cash performance. Responsible for the delivery of Productivity savings and process improvement;
  • To define, design and implement appropriate growth and go-to-market strategies in line with Country and Regional targets, selecting the appropriate channels (direct business, distributor, agency) and manage their implementation;
  • To develop, recruit, train, coach, organize and manage a small team of sales managers. Localize technical expertise and knowledge (when justified) and establish strong synergies with North Africa Hub (located in Barcelona).
  • To develop a growth business plan for the recently-opened repair workshop in Algiers, in synergy with the overall GP SDO growth strategy for the Country and the region in general.
  • To analyze regularly the installed and operating fleet to define the appropriate tactics. Understand the Customers requests and the market trends.
  • To develop and maintain Clients relationships at all level in their organization. Responsible for Clients Satisfaction and resolution of any Clients disputes in the area of Contract execution.
  • to build up a constructive collaboration with Power Gen (GP PG) and Oil&Gas (GP O&G) to sell New Equipment.

Job Requirements:

Requirements
  • Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar academic education
  • 8+ experience in Service / Oil&Gas / Rotating Equipment with exposure to more than one product line
  • Deep knowledge of Oil&Gas market and dynamics
  • Fluent in French and English. Arabic is a strong plus.
  • Available to travel extensively within the Country and occasionally international/intercontinental.
