Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Manages Finish Goods Inventory in terms of stock availability based on the POV report.
  • Implements and coordinates the agreed strategies, including new production plans,
  • Liaises with stakeholders and internal customers
  • Maintain Material Master Data in ERP system
  • Compile daily PVA report and distribute to stakeholders
  • Confirm with Material planners that all materials are available for the production plant as per the production plan – 2 week window.
  • Weekly Control Tower facilitator
  • Owner of schedule adherence reporting monthly
  • Weekly planning and overtime requirement management
  • SAP APO: SNP94, POV1 reports, Capacity planning, T-lane
  • Compile Materials shortage report weekly - Ensure the production plan reflects the current pacing based on the previous days output
  • Create the weekly production plan based on PMS supply plan and manufacturing constraints
  • Manage available capacity in SAP – (Overtime or shift cuts)
  • Align with manufacturing and planning on an optimal schedule/planning wheel
  • Update master data – SAP & APO
  • Attend weekly production meeting – Normally Thursdays.
  • Monthly revision of OOE with BU’s to understand line performance and determine planning number adjustments – up or down to optimize line capacity
  • Engage with safety, maintenance, engineering and RD&E on a weekly basis to establish down time and align with Finish goods planners to establish feasibility based on stock availability.
  • Convert bulk orders in line with all finish goods orders give through by finish goods planners daily
  • Ensure back orders is pulled forward daily (no orders allowed in the past)
  • Annual Coreplan agreed with Finance & management sent to finish goods planner and production scheduler and routings being maintained in line with Coreplan strategy i.e. SKU level, line speed is updated (bottoms up)
  • Involvement in exit strategies and SKU rationalization by adapting the production orders in order to clear components and not normal MOQ.
  • Responsible for line and SKU production analysis and reporting as and when requested by internal stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Position Requirements
  • A three year degree (B Com Supply Chain) or equivalent, CPIM
  • Minimum 4 years of proven working experience in supply or production planning in an FMCG environment (preferably with a Multi-national company)
  • Knowledge of the SAP R/3 System (MM) and Maintenance of master data is critical. SAP APO an advantage
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience with new products management or project management
  • Experience with purchasing and planning including imported components for production lines
  • Excellent communication, organizational and operational kills
  • Teamwork player
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • You need to be legally eligible to work in country of application
